Step 1 - Add water to your shaker

Pour 500ml of cold water into your Huel shaker. Top tip: Using cold water helps improve texture and taste.

Step 2 - Add your Huel powder

Add two level scoops of Huel Black Edition (90g). Always add water first, then powder — this helps prevent clumping and keeps powder from sticking to the bottom.


Top tip: For an accurate scoop, level it off by gently running the scoop along the inside edge of the pouch to remove excess powder.

Step 3 - Shake well

Secure the grid, lid, and cap tightly, then shake hard for 20 seconds until smooth. Once done, you’re good to go.

Prefer a smoother texture? If you want an extra-smooth, thicker, and creamier finish, you can use a blender instead. Just blend 500ml of cold water, two scoops of your Huel powder, and a handful of ice cubes for 10–20 seconds.

Taste and tweak as you like: Want a thinner texture? Add a splash more water.

Prefer it thicker? Add little more powder. Want it creamier or more indulgent? Use oat milk (or any plant-based milk you prefer) instead of water.
